Tallia - An Interesting Clothing Line for Men
We know very little about the clothing line called Tallia Orange, except that it appears to be very affordable and is carried by places that I would not normally associate with high fashion or, actually, any fashion, like Macy's and Belks. But the sport jackets look pretty cool, they're cheap at $150 or less, and they come in a big and tall line.

This is what a Male Model Should Look Like
Clean cut, not a kid, no visible tats, smiling, and wearing clothes that make sense - a nice looking sports jacket for $150. All good.

You, Yes, Even You, will Look Cool in This Car
As a general rule, the car does not make the man, nor do the clothes, or anything else. A dumpy middle aged man driving an expensive car is still a dumpy middle aged man. However, we may make an exception to our general rule for this car. It is not super expensive, but it is super cool. And you my friend, even wearing those Dockers, even with that bad hair cut, will look cool in this car.

Why Can't We Have More Sweet Ads Like This One?
Most fashion ads try so hard to convey some fake overt plastic sexuality. Why don't more fashion ads feature nice scenes like this one, a smiling young man and his grandmother? I'm much more likely to pay too much for a suit based on this image than I am of some overhyped movie star with a sullen expression. Fashion should be fun - it's okay to smile. Really.

When Slick Marketing is a Good Thing
Normally we're pretty sick of clothing companies that spend more money on developing their heritage branding than on actual clothes making. And for many big brands the story is really fairly disgusting. (We're looking at you Chanel, and your founder and Nazi collaborator Coco). But in some cases the marketing is just so good that its good, free fun. Take the label Axel Arigato. Some pretty cool shoes, sure, but a really fun video about their background.

Celine Does Cool Suit for Women - Not so Easy
What is this? A suit? Not really. But it does have pants and a jacket. Mostly though, we dig the cool belt. Maybe this chick does karate? Maybe not. But we like the look. Normally a jacket and pants on women we think Hillary Clinton, and not in a good way. Or Washington no-nonsense bureaucrat. But this model looks like she could be the evil dame from a James Bond flick. Or maybe she mixes a mean martini.
It's from Celine's online runway show, and they give the following details:
Look 24
Bell Small Necklace / Belt in Gold Brass and Silk

Pendant, China, Jade and Gold, 3rd Century BC
How things have changed in the last 1700 years, right? Or not? This jade necklace would look just as cool in the 21st century as in the 3rd. And that's kind of amazing if you think about it.

Cool, Cheap Duffels
This is the Herschel Novel Duffel. 80 bucks. Orange, a manly brown, blue, all good. What's not to like? Maybe that it doesn't have wheels? So you actually have to carry it, rather than pull it. But a cool looking weekend bag.

Designers take note! This kind of way of keeping a dress together is not only beautiful, but would work again now - and look spectacular.

Garland of Sacred Double Seeds, India, Early 20th Century
Truly a statement piece, but could be nice with a simple dress.
