We have mixed feelings about William Henry's heavily advertised jewelry for men. On the one hand, pretty cool stuff, if you wear that sort of thing. On the other hand, we don't really wear that sort of thing. Also, if you're going the jewelry route, maybe you want something custom made, or from a small local boutique?  Unlike clothing, jewelry seems like the sort of thing that is so personal it should really be unique.

A lot of men spend thousands of dollars on watches. Not really sure why. You can buy a Timex watch like these for about $35 each on Amazon, and then buy new bands, online or otherwise, for similar sums. Each time you change the band it gives the watch a whole new look. 2 of these have replacement bands; one still has the original.

And speaking of watch bands, this is a cool site. Will it change your life? No. But maybe a cheap thrill.

You will look good in this old Jag. No matter what you look like; no matter what you're wearing. Generally, we believe that money can't take the place of good taste, but if you have enough taste to drive a car like this, you may be able to pull off a cool look even if you're short, fat, bald, and wearing a backwards baseball cap. Okay, maybe not the last part.

If you don't know these guys, you should.  It's a medium sized relatively new company that is making cool glasses - both prescription and not - in affordable prices, typically $95 for non-prescription and $150 for prescription. We have a couple pair and they are as advertised. You do the whole process online, but you'll need your prescription info before you order.

Granted, you and I, alas, will not be making a command decision as to whether to purchase this watch for $ 2.6 million. And, yeah, we get it - its'a work of art, although not truly a one of kind - 7 were made. So this is a collectible item - like a vintage Ferrari or a Warhol - for a few billionaires. And yes, With 1,366 movement components and 214 case components, it is a complex instrument.  And it took some very skilled craftsmen 7 years to design and build.  And we love complex objects of craftsmanship.

Still, we'd get a lot more pleasure from feeding a bunch of hungry kids - and you could feed thousands for $2.6 million.

As a general rule, we're not big fans of the huge fashion conglomerates like Dolce and Gabbana. But this is a beautiful dress on a beautiful model showcased in a beautiful photo.

We normally associate Chicos with women we would never want to have sex with, but, hey, this is the fashion world, and things change. Their newest catalog has kinda interesting stuff. Plus, the model is hot.

Religious restrictions? Just feeling in the mood for a veil? This is the way to do it.

Note that almost 600 years after this portrait was painted, this lady still looks very much like a lady. In fact, she looks more like a lady than most women today. Some standards don't really change over time. She looked elegant then, she looks elegant now.

Not many headless women, or men for that matter, can be sexy, but this lady manages to pull it off.  In what is truly timeless fashion, over 1200 years ago the dress still manages to be clingy in a way that would still look great today.
