MANAGEMENT PROFITS, EVERYONE ELSE GETS THE SHAFT!

CEO Michael Rapino of concert promotion company Live Nation called 2010 “a depressing year”, as the company lost $228 million. But no worries for him; he paid himself $15.9 million.

The chairman of the company, Irving Azoff, was paid $22.8 million

But showing that these guys really know how to spread the wealth, noblesse oblige and all that sort of thing, they also showered money on their best employees. Or not so much. 50 “star employees” were given bonuses of $250 each.

Let’s see: a million for me, one for you, a million for me, one for you. As for the shareholders, don’t make me laugh!

The name for this isn’t “capitalism”. The name for this is “stealing.”
