Leonardo was never known to have a relationship with a woman... "The sexual act of coitus and the body parts employed for it are so repulsive that, if it were not for the beauty of the faces and the adornment of the actors and the pent up impulse, nature would lose the human species." (In his series of anatomical drawings, he drew a woman's anatomy, which as a crude and flawed depiction of female genitalia, looking like a forbidding and dark cave. This was a case of not letting experience be a mistress, or vice versa p.72)
