The most amazing part of Indian life is really the madness of urban traffic, and the fact that not only do Indians (apparently) survive it, but no one seems to get very upset.
We’re really not exaggerating; every time you cross the street or get in a car, you seem to be defying almost certain death.
The constant beeping, the fact that cars often go the wrong direction, that pedestrians cross very heavy traffic wherever they decide to, cars routinely come within inches of colliding; the Indian streets are a world without rules, or at least without anyone following rules At least in big cities like Mumbai or Bangalore, complete chaos is the rule.
And this happens every single day. You simply have to experience it to believe it.
