We’ve seen this many times, most famously when OJ Simpson knifed to death two people and walked away a free man.  Now another famous athlete, Oscar Pistorius, is literally walking away from murder. Pistorius will be released from prison after serving only one year for shooting and killing his girlfriend. We live in an age when justice basically no longer includes punishment, no matter how heinous the crime, and when the rich and famous can, literally, get away with murder.
