There is already a sea of unnecessary but very expensive medical testing done, often to avoid litigation, but now Pathway Genomics has introduced a new way to scare people and make money. Supposedly you can take their test and know if you are at risk of certain kinds of cancer based on DNA analysis of blood samples. But the testing looks to be even more worthless than most, as its diagnostic ability is completely unproven.
