Maggie Rizer, Supermodel, defending her stepdad and blaming his embezzlement of $7 million on others.

From the article: Supermodel Maggie Rizer’s stepfather embezzled $7 million from her; but this is what she said about him: “I think John is a good person who made way too many bad decisions, took his life down the wrong path” she wrote to the court. “He’s honestly not a bad guy. He’s just really messed up. I’d like to see him given an opportunity to now make the most of an awful situation.”

But Rizer’s forgiveness only extends to the people who actually steal from her.  She hired celebrity lawyer Ed Hayes to sue the bars where her stepfather drank and played the lottery, as well as several banks.

AM: Okay, we’ll admit, there’s no reason to believe that Miss Rizer has a brain in her head. But we’ll try to explain anyway. If you steal millions of dollars from a relative, or anyone else, you are, in fact, a bad person. And hiring yet another sleazebag lawyer to try to recover that money is not the answer, because it’s not the fault of the bars or the banks.

Ms. Rizer, you are the one that made a bad decision to trust your stepfather, and he stole your money. So you should be punished, and he should be punished. Hopefully very harshly.
