Robertson was responding to comments made by US Secretary Of State, Condoleeza Rice. During an interview, Rice stated that mac ‘n’ cheese was the one dish she could not go without at Thanksgiving. He made his remark to Rice’s interviewer, Kristi Watts, who, like Rice, is black.
