His dad worked his way up through the union ranks. He was the second vice-president. Some employee was fired by the company, and he took it out on the union. He comes to the union hall, points a gun at his dad, and says 'get out of the way' because he wants to shoot the union president. My dad wouldn't. So the employee left, went around outside, broke a window where the president was, and shot him. So my dad ended up taking over.
