Women are at last taking a hand in man's most exciting capitalist game. For the first time they have the interest, the self assurance, and the entrance fee. If they become intelligent players, and if to any extent they should win financial power, they would probably in our economic society, as a matter of pragmatic fact, do more to raise the level of common respect for women as a class than all the hard fought suffrage campaigns.
