Huge Mines Come Online at the Wrong Time
The price of commodities, such as copper and oil, around the world have been cratering as a result of diminishing Chinese demand and other factors. Now huge new mines, started years ago when commodities prices were much higher, are finally being finished and adding even more supply to existing oversupply. Expect even lower commodities prices as these massive mines start pumping out new supply.
