
At 16 she was an unknown Canadian girl. Then she became world famous when she became the first person to swim across Lake Ontario. At 17 she bacame the youngest person to ever swim the English Channel. And then she decided she was tired of fame, so she disappeared and led a perfectly normal life - for 60 years. Now, at 78, she is learning to swim again, thanks in large part to a 98 year old former cardiologist who believes that swimming is just the thing for those getting a bit advanced in years.
