There are people who are strangely constituted. There are criminals who will work like beavers to contrive schemes that land them in prison. and they no sooner get out than they start all over again and again land in prison. If they put as much industry, as much cleverness, resource, and patience into honest practices they could make a handsome living and occupy important positions. But they’re just made that way. They like crime.
