The new money types comport themselves surprisingly like the old money types. They’re all about making money but not spending the money. They’re frugal – nay, cheap – and humble, modest, simply and unostentatiously dressed, and, above all, resolutely hardworking. It’s not that they delay gratification; it’s that they find gratification in their work.
