Einstein's theory of relativity wasn't designed to say that "everything is relative". In fact, its actual meaning was essentially the opposite. The theory was designed to explain how the laws of physics are identical in every frame of reference. From Einstein's view, things didn't look unpredictable; they looked surprisingly orderly.
